Claire’s Story

In 2017, Claire painted her first canvas art piece of her family’s beloved dog, Ralph. Ralph is a rescue dog thought to be part pit-bull, part American bulldog, and 100% lovable despite being just one day away from euthanization when Claire’s family brought him into their home.

As a gift to her mom, Claire painted Ralph for an assignment in the first art class she’d taken since her talented high school days. Her love of pets and painting combined naturally to bring to life not only the smiley family dog, but as a new business for Claire to help other people celebrate the joy that every pet brings into our lives.

Claire went on to paint their other family rescue dog, Alice, and now has commissioned dozens of even more detailed and adorable portraits of pets everywhere. While she is prone to immense puppy love, she also enjoys painting a variety of cats like her very own calico, Pepperoni Wiggles.

Claire’s immense talent and love of a good challenge extends to unique requests, like dressing up your pet in a stylish collar or painting them with their favorite sidekick/stuffed animal. To date, one of her crowning achievements is completing gold-tinted portraits of the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and Cape buffalo) against an African sunset.

In addition to painting, Claire recently received her Master’s in Public Health at Georgia State University. She is a Chicago native, volleyball athlete and alumna from Mercer University. She currently works as a case manager at a medical office in Atlanta.
